From the beginning of this year, the logistics industry has been severely impacted by the outbreak of Covid-19. Now, an increasing number of Chinese industries gradually begin to resume normal operations, and so do transport services. Röhlig staff are therefore working to support our valued customers, providing logistics solutions that take into account the available services across the country. Please find further information on two of our transport solutions below:
Our Sea-Air Solution
In the wake of numerous flight cancellations in the month of February, our Sea-Air Solution is a reliable and cost-effective choice to move your goods in Asia and beyond. The service uses reliable local sea freight services to transport goods to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei before transferring to air freight services destined for the Americas, Europe, and more. Our Rail Solution
In February, rail transport suffered from unexpected delays and cancellations. Currently, most of the operators are gradually resuming usual service in accordance with safety regulations, allowing rail freight the opportunity to recover normal operations. Our dedicated Rail Team is currently offering the following services:
- Block train service between China and Europe
- Intermodal services from Asia to Europe, and vice versa
- FTL trucking service to Europe, and vice versa
The Röhlig Rail Team is also pleased to announce the resumption of our export services from Hubei province, including the city of Wuhan.
