Customer Service Manager

Responsibilities

  • Performance of daily Customer service responsibilities, Managing the daily transactions for own portfolio of Customers ( Handling a minimum of 100 orders per month. Portfolio to included 2 of the TOP 20 branch accounts)
  • Act as the overriding force in managing the entire shipment process on behalf of customers, liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers as required.
  • Working with the commercial team to ensure all accounts are implemented in to the department and the clients requirement are met.
  • Ensure all client reporting is set up and scheduled from the system.
  • Responding to customer enquiries or complaints via phone and email within 12 hours of the enquiry.
  • Ensure customers are informed of any issues and systems are updated timely and accurately as stipulated by management. Maintain and manage client SOP’s and ensure client rates are in CW1 for shipments booked.
  • Act as back up for when staff are on personal or holiday leave and perform their daily tasks.

Skills required

  • Certificate in Frontline Management (is an ideal minimum)
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel and outlook)
  • Cargo wise / Order manager experience
  • Min 5 years working within the industry in the following roles - Customer Service, Pricing , Business Development & or Key Account manager role experience preferred;
  • Min 2 years leading a team
  • Excellent attention to detail, a can do attitude and a personality who likes working in a friendly team environment.
  • You will have initiative and a like the challenge of meeting the client's expectations.
  • An ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent Interpersonal, organisational, planning and time management skills;
  • Passion, dedication and commitment to providing great customer service;
  • Superior inter-personnel and communication skills.
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines to completion.
  • An ability to provide professional consultation and operational support to all customers;
  • An ability to lead and motivate team;
  • Demonstrated results with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Being an effective team player
  • A High level of written & verbal communication skills;
  • An attention to detail with a degree of flexibility
