Röhlig Perth supports Foodbank volunteering program

Röhlig Perth supports Foodbank volunteering program

Earlier this month, Röhlig Perth teamed up with Foodbank Australia to assist with packing food donations for Australians in need of food relief.

Staff from different departments worked together to achieve the challenge of the day: packing at least 1000 lasagnes for Foodbank’s retail outlets across WA. The whole team rose to the challenge and the final total packed was 1120 lasagnes!

“All three Röhlig volunteers agreed it was a tiring, but very rewarding day and we are definitely ready to volunteer again!” – John Rock, Business Development Manager

Röhlig Australia is implementing solutions to handle screening for all airfreight leaving Australia

Röhlig Australia is implementing solutions to handle screening for all airfreight leaving Australia

Effective from March 1st, the Department of Home Affairs is introducing further security controls in order to help safeguard international aviation from terrorist threats.

To ensure supply chain efficiency, at Röhlig Australia, we are implementing solutions to handle screening in each state. In our busiest locations, Sydney and Melbourne, we will be transitioning to a regulated air-cargo agent (RACA) and will screen cargo at our local facilities. This implementation means our clients will benefit from:

  • No disruption to cargo

  • Minimal delays

  • Not need to go to third-party X-ray screeners

For the official notice released by the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs, please click here.

Please contact your local Röhlig Australia representative should you have any specific questions regarding to the screening process.
