Frankfurt/Main. In future, Röhlig Deutschland will have its own gateway at Frankfurt airport. The new gateway was officially opened on Thursday, 15 March 2012 in a ceremony attended by around one hundred guests.

Röhlig Deutschland will now be processing Röhlig, Weiss-Röhlig and Gebrüder Weiss air freight from Germany and various neighbouring European countries through its Frankfurt gateway. The gateway offers a spectrum of services for import and export customers ranging from freight consolidation to customs clearance. The gateway will not only bring together Röhlig’s previous Export Consol and Import Hub, but also house the Frankfurt Röhlig branch office and provide 3,000 sqm of warehousing.
Thanks to the gateway, located in the south of the airport, Röhlig is now close to air and freight lines. “With this new gateway, we want to further improve the capacity, speed and quality of our entire service portfolio. We will be available for our customers close to 24/7”, says José Sánchez, National Airfreight Manager at Röhlig Deutschland.
