Bremen. Within its Strategy 2018 logistics provider Röhlig has defined ambitious growth targets. To reach these aims, Röhlig is systematically expanding its expert staff.
As a first step Strategy 2018 focuses on strengthening sea and air freight businesses. Personnel-wise this is reflected by the appointment of Johannes Trautmann as Agency Network Coordinator as well as Jens Opara as Airfreight Director. Furthermore Röhlig will expand its range of services. For that reason the company recently generated the position of Supply Chain & Solutions Manager filled by Dr. Celine Wong. All new staff members are renowned experts of their business areas and possess long term experience in international logistics:
Dr. Celine Wong initiated her career in the field of strategic management consulting. Within the logistic area she assisted international customers during their global expansion by developing and implementing individual supply chain solutions. Additionally Dr. Wong has been giving lectures at University of Münster’s Graduate School of Politics.
Johannes Trautmann can look back on a successful track record at the Röhlig alliance partner Gebrüder Weiss. Holding the position of Global Key Account Manager Air/Sea, Mr. Trautmann contributed to setting up the freight forwarder’s tender management. Later appointed Business Development Manager, Mr. Trautmann was in charge of the USA, Canada and Mexico trade lanes.
Jens Opara was Vice President Operations of the joint-venture Weiss-Röhlig USA. As part of the Management Team, Mr. Opara contributed in positioning Weiss-Röhlig as a relevant player in the US market. Prior to his US-appointment, Mr. Opara had been working in various management positions, among others for Grindrod in South Africa.
Röhlig is an owner run forwarding company, that offers logistics solutions in the field of sea freight, air freight and industrial project logistics. The Röhlig network contains more than 2,000 employees in 31 countries.
