Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  •  Achieve volume and revenue  targets 
  • Accountable to gain more & new business from existing accounts and new clients
  • Ensure observance to sales KPIs
  • Usage of Sales tools and kits as provided, to CRM sales tool for all sales activities.
  • Ensure sales leads disseminated are actioned & feedback provided within specified time
  • Create customer SOPs to enhance service levels 
  • Ensure Opportunity Manager is updated at all times with all information
  • Ensure job profitability is achieved through active consultation with Manager –Airfreight & Sea freight.
  • Focus on opportunities and evolve strategies for enhancement of Project Logistics business
  • Get customer’s credit requirements processed as per prescribed limits and credit lines in line with Global KPIs.
  • Escalate to Sales Manager and Product Heads in the event of any Claims and Cargo discrepancies per prescribed procedures QP 300
  • Represent Rohlig in trade shows / exhibitions at the location basis instructions from SM / National Sales Manager
  • Awareness of statutory requirements and work within the norms of the company and institutions

 

Skills required

This role, requires excellent  communication , selling & negotiation skills, with the ability to work towards achieving the branch target and excelling the same.

To work closely with other staff members in order to achieve and exceed targets set in terms of profitability, productivity, accuracy and quality of service for the Company. The jobholder’s work must adhere to the minimum standard for which Rohlig India Pvt. Ltd. is committed to  and ensuring all work carried out is compliant with pertinent regulatory bodies.
