Position: National Sea Freight Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Update and analyze product reports and share with corresponding stakeholders
  • Produce weekly Customer booking/allocation/performance reports and maintain Customer account plans
  • Share Operations and Invoicing reports ensure invoicing accuracy, based on the agreed customer account plans
  • Track carrier performance and contract/allocation compliance and maintain carrier account plant to effectively steer cargo
  • Review data and follow up with operations at origin and destination to ensure proper quality
  • Manage the Sea Freight Product SharePoint/MS Teams site and CargoSphere Data
    • Update and share reports and analysis
    • Create and maintain a sea freight “Help yourself”- library
    • Update and maintain carrier contract data
    • Maintain carrier contact and escalation overview
  • Consolidate, prepare and share market updates from multiple sources
  • Update FAK Selling Tariff according to FMC guidelines and coordinate with rate management team
  • Manage customer selling rates with sales, account management, rate management team and customers
  • Support in enforcing the allocation management process
  • Follow up with individual parties (internal and external) on updates and communicate those with the corresponding stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Resolves discrepancies, while keeping record of discrepancies via the Innovations and Incidents Management (IIM) to ensure compliance
  • Adhere to the minimum standard to which Rohlig USA is committed (Quality ISO 9001:2015, Environmental ISO 14001:2015)

 

Skills required

  • In-Depth knowledge in MS Office Products, especially Excel
  • 3-5 years of freight forwarding or international transportation experience with strong preference towards ocean freight services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
