Update on Coronavirus outbreak and changes to daily business
11 February 2020 - Please be advised that due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, all Röhlig offices within Mainland China will remain closed until 17 February. Staff will still be able to attend to all correspondence for the duration of this period in order to ensure the continuation of our services to customers.
Due to a number of suspended airline services and an increase in blank sailing, delays in air, sea, and rail freight are to be expected in the coming days and weeks. Restrictions on road transport have also had a considerable impact on trucking capacity. However, our staff will be cooperating closely with customers in order to find suitable solutions and to limit disruptions.
We continue to monitor the situation closely, with the safety of our customers and employees remaining a top priority. We have advised our global employees to defer business trips to China until further notice. We would advise all customers concerned to contact their closest Röhlig representative for advice and information on how their services may be affected.
