The new Thailand warehouse boasts 16,000 square metres of storage space and is positioned in a Free Trade Zone near Laem Chabang Port, one of Thailand’s key shipping hubs. The facility offers 10-meter-high ceilings, 15 loading docks, over 8,000 pallet positions, 10,000 bins for small parts and dedicated bulk and quarantine areas. With built-in scalability, the warehouse can expand by an additional 5,000 square metres to accommodate future growth. Advanced safety features, including a thermal isolation rooftop, sprinklers, fire alarms, 24/7 on-site security, and CCTV surveillance, ensure the secure handling of sensitive goods such as electronics.
Sophisticated warehouse management system
Both new facilities will benefit from a sophisticated warehouse management system (WMS) from Infor, a global leader in cloud-based software solutions. “With key capabilities like automation and analytics, the Infor WMS provides full visibility into warehouse operations. This enables us to optimise processes and deliver even more reliable service tailored to our customers' needs”, said Niels Rudolph, Global Contract Logistics Director at Röhlig Logistics.
