Röhlig Logistics sets course for further growth in Chile and Latin America

General

Bremen, 16 March 2026 – Röhlig Logistics is realigning its management structure in Chile and Latin America to drive further growth in the region. As part of this strategic development, Christian Busch has taken over as Managing Director of Röhlig Chile on 10 March 2026. He succeeds Anthony Roe, who has played a key role in building and shaping the company in Chile over two decades.

Christian Busch has more than 25 years of experience in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry. Before joining Röhlig, he held management positions at Kühne+Nagel and, prior to that, at DB Schenker. In these roles, he was responsible for managing complex supply chain structures, expanding national organisations and implementing strategic growth initiatives, among other things. In his new position, Busch will be responsible for the further development of Röhlig Logistics' business in Chile and for strengthening the company's market position in the country. "With Christian Busch, we are gaining a leader with extensive international experience and strong operational knowledge. He brings exactly the right expertise to successfully develop our business in Chile and the region," says Michael Gerding, Regional CEO Latin America at Röhlig Logistics.

Busch himself sees great potential for further growth: "Chile is an important logistics and trade location in Latin America with excellent prospects. Together with our local team, I would like to further strengthen our market position, open up new business opportunities and support our customers with reliable and innovative logistics solutions."

As part of the reorganisation, Anthony Roe will take on the role of Regional Trade Lane Director Latin America. In this role, he will be responsible for the strategic development of key trade routes within Latin America and their connection to important global markets such as China, India, Europe and the USA. "We would like to thank Anthony Roe for his exceptional performance and many years of service in Chile. He has had a decisive influence on the location, and we are delighted that he will now be contributing his experience in a regional role," adds Michael Gerding.

A special thanks go to Héctor Midolo, who, in addition to his role as Chief Commercial Officer Latin America, who assumed the position of Interim Managing Director of Röhlig Chile since December. He will continue to support the transition in the coming weeks. “We would like to thank Héctor for his strong commitment and leadership during this interim period. His support ensured continuity and stability for our Chile organisation,” said Michael Gerding, Regional CEO Latin America at Röhlig Logistics.
