Grounds for Complaint under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) is a German law that requires companies with 1,000 or more employees to take responsibility for upholding human rights and environmental protections along their supply chains. While our company does not meet the employee threshold to be legally obligated by the LkSG, we have voluntarily adopted its standards for corporate responsibility.
The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) allows for reports of human rights and environmental risks as well as breaches of duty.
These includes in particular:
Human rights: Child labor, forced labor, slavery, and disregard for occupational health and safety regulations at the place of employment.
Working conditions: Disregard for freedom of association, withholding of fair wages, or unequal treatment in employment.
Environment: Environmental pollution that threatens livelihoods (e.g. harmful soil changes, water, or air pollution).
Protection against Discrimination (General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)) -
We promote a discrimination-free working environment. You can use this channel to report discrimination based on race or ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
