Rohlig New Zealand's MD running for cancer

Rohlig New Zealand's MD running for cancer

In October, Andrew Antonopoulos, Rohlig New Zealand’s Managing Director, ran the Auckland half marathon to raise funds for the Cancer Society.

Andrew lost his beloved sister Irene to cancer this year and ran on behalf of the Cancer Society to support the many families affected by cancer.

Due to the tremendous support Andrew received, we are proud to announce that Andrew raised more than $12,000! He also broke his personal goal to run the half marathon within 2 hours, clocking in at 1 hour 43 minutes.

“It was an amazing and uplifting experience getting to the finish line, especially due to the amazing support from my family. It was very emotional not only thinking of Irene but also the incredible generosity shown by so many people. Thank you so much for making a difference to families who are struggling with this disease. I am grateful and humbled by this experience.” said Andrew.

Rohlig partner with Foodbank to assist with food relief

This year, Rohlig Australia has teamed up with Foodbank Australia to assist with packing food donations for Australians in need of food relief.

In Australia, 1 in 10 people regularly seek food relief and need assistance with food donations even though they are employed. Foodbank is a non-profit organisation which acts as a pantry to the charities and community groups who feed the hungry.

In October, Ashleigh Swartz and Natasha Jackson, from team Rohlig Brisbane, donated their time to pack food and hampers at their local Brisbane warehouse.

"It was a great feeling for both myself and Natasha being part of the crew at Foodbank. Especially knowing that we were doing a good deed for families and individuals who really do need our help. Makes you appreciate the little things in life that we all just take for granted." Ashleigh Swartz, Customer Service Supervisor, Rohlig Brisbane.

Rohlig Australia sponsors Harley Days 2017

Rohlig Australia sponsors Harley Days 2017

The Rohlig Australia team took great pleasure in attending the sponsor evening for Harley Days 2017. On behalf of Rohlig, Tracey Brown, Rohlig’s Marketing Manager accepted a thank you plaque for sponsorship of the event. The evening was also a great opportunity to network with other sponsors while enjoying the fantastic views that Wollongong has to offer.

Harley Days is Australia’s biggest celebration of all things Harley. For an entire weekend, Wollongong greeted the Harley-Davidson lifestyle experience; Stuart Park was painted in black, orange and white and the motorcycles’ engines were the loudest sound in the city.

During the three-day festival attendees had the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the Rohlig sponsored Dyno Challenge and Jumpstart station.

Looking forward to Harley Days 2018…
