Local business leaders inspire students at ‘Make the Connection’ seminar

On November 17th, a team of panellists from local Liverpool businesses attended a Transport and Logistics seminar targeted at high school students within the Greater South Western Sydney Area.

The seminar gave students the opportunity to meet successful business people who work within the logistics industry, learn how they reached their position, the challenges they overcame, and the benefits of working in this dynamic and exciting sector.

Rohlig’s own Managing Director Hany Amer was one of the panellists along with David Dale, NSW Safety and Compliance Officer  from Simon National Carrier, and Deanne – Lee Wilkie, NSW Training Manager from Transit System. Liverpool’s Mayor Wendy Waller also attended to support both the panellists and the students.

The panellists were inspiring and passionate and made a great effort to engage with the students. The Rohlig Australia team looks forward to working with Liverpool Council and mentoring students through similar events in the future.

Rohlig increases on road service offering with “Little Bluey”

Introducing ‘Little Bluey’ our Isuzu 4 tonne pocket rocket!

Little Bluey will be used to make smaller, quick deliveries from our Sydney warehouse to our customers.

This small truck allows faster loading / unloading and the ability to deliver to client locations larger vehicles are unable to access. This opens up various load possibilities, allowing greater versatility to service client needs.

“Rohlig looks forward to increasing our final mile delivery offering, linking perfectly with a range of new products and solutions launched this year. Rohlig’s branded final mile delivery offering is in line with our  strategy to offer ‘more’ to our customers.” says Greg King, Transport and Warehouse Manager, Rohlig Logistics
