Bremen. Jens Haas is the new National Air Freight Manager for the German business operations of the international logistics company Röhlig. Working out of Röhlig’s Frankfurt office, he has been responsible for air freight since September and is part of the management team of Röhlig Deutschland.
Jens Haas will be expanding this area of business and developing air freight products for customers’ global needs. As part of its growth programme, Röhlig changed its organisational structure last year away from one that was defined by geography towards one based on products and functions. This new structure will enable Röhlig to develop new products more quickly and to respond more effectively to the global needs of its customers.
Jens Haas, who is 47 years old, has worked in freight forwarding for over 20 years – most recently as head of air freight with Schenker Deutschland, in which role he was also responsible for developing trade lanes with China, the USA and Korea.
