Verantwortlichkeit

- Conducting Project Manager role by ensuring that during the conduct and execution of a project, that vendors coordinate and manage the processes and activities in a manner conducive with risk mitigation and reflective of the professionalism of WRUSA.

- Ensuring that procedures and processes are reflective of the services and activities provided by approved vendors. Training and evaluating vendors where necessary.

- Assisting with, or developing logistics plans that are focused on risk mitigation, yet mindful of project budget.

- Reviewing plans or solutions with colleagues to ensure that sufficient allowance is made for contingencies, identifying critical areas of risk and that a sound plan is in place.

- Assisting with periodic evaluation and management of approved vendors.

- Developing and reviewing RFP packages for various transportation and logistics modes.

- Professionally and competently prepare quotations, proposals and present to all interested parties (customers , WR network , EPCMs ).

- Establish, build and maintain relationships with service providers to the project industry (e.g. heavy haulage truckers , BB carriers , crane operators).

- Able to competently manage / oversee the internal WR operational aspect of project and ancillary cargoes.

Voraussetzungen

- Commercially orientated person , with strong face-to-face sales / marketing skills

-  Ability to travel (30 – 60%) travel depends on the project, typically short in duration

- Experience with AutoCAD Plus

- Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills

- Computer literate and experienced with Microsoft Office software and Lotus Notes, EDI and CargoWise

- Self driven, well organized

- Minimum 10 years of transportation administration and operations experience

- High School Graduate with some College preferred
